Yesterday was a tough start for Federer, lost in 3 sets against Gilles Simon on the first match of the 2008 ATP Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, the score was 6-4 federer and the oher two for Simon 6-4 and 6-3. Gilles Simon is ranked No.8 for the tournament and Roger No.1, but I guess that wasn’t enough.
