Chicago Cubs Logo VS. Cincinnati Reds Logo

The Chicago Cubs have been without a World Series Title for 99 years and this season with an updated roster including Alfonso Soriano and Derek Lee leading the batting average for the team and still they can’t manage to start a season by winning the first game. Their best pitcher Carlos Zambrano started today with a low tone, and obviously cubs fell under the powerful REDS playing an amazing game and displaying a well managed pitching selection. Both teams got 8 hits, the Reds allowed themselves to have an error and still dominated the Cubs five runs to one. Carlos Zambrano pitched 5 innings, allowed 5 runs, gave 5 ball bases, had 2 strikeouts and allowed 2 homers, and Harang pitched 7 innings, allowed 1 run, gave 2 ball bases, had 5 strikeouts and no homeruns allowed. Clearly we can see why Chicago never had a chance on this game. I hope my Cubs can get back to serious business Ijust can imagine another year with the same outcome, no pennant, no title no glory, let’s break this curse and bring the title home boys!!! Next pitching match will be Lilly vs. Arroyo, good luck to Lilly and GO CUBS…
