CHICAGO BEARS!!! SUPERBOWL XLI

I am a firm believer that the defensive game will beat 9 out of 10 times to any offensive line, regardless who the stars of the offensive line are. CHICAGO BEARS have been struggling with success since 1985 (last championship) and they are due already. They rank No.1 in the NFL on DEFENSE and they are a 7 point underdog, that is just unbelievable but the are playing the mighty COLTS with his star PEYTON MANNING who still hasn’t proved his real value on the market by winning a Superbowl. Man by man INDIANAPOLIS COLTS are a far better team, the difference in numbers by the QB’s is abismal, but that is not what this sport is all about, is all about TEAM EFFORT and in that case BEARS will come out winners, they are more organized on defense than anyother (including the mighty colts) and they will be flying all over the field trying to reach the goal who doesn’t just belong to a single star but to 60 individuals equally important… Anyways the outcome will be great and Chicago Bears will bring one home from Florida and they will give their great city one more title to enjoy!!!

Gilmore Girls’s 8th season hanging by a thread

I have recently read in different websites that the very popular show might not continue for another year. It seems that Alexis Bledel (Rory) does not want to continue Gilmore Girls, it has been reported that Alexis is proving a “tougher sell” than Lauren Graham (Lorelai), and that they were considering the idea of doing the show without Alexis.

However it seems the plan of a Roryless eighth season has been firmly rejected for one very good reason: Lauren Graham is sticking by her onscreen daughter, and has made it clear that she will not continue the show without Alexis on board.

So…will we get another season? I read Lauren and Alexis are making the decision as a team. If they both decide to partake in an eighth season, we’ll get another year of Gilmore bliss. If not (boo hoo), this will be the final year of the show we so adore.

Still, don’t start saying your goodbyes just yet. The show’s rep at the CW insists the report that Alexis does not want to continue with the show is “really just a rumor…I’ve never heard that from Alexis’ people or any reliable source close to the production.”

Plus, there’s another reason to hold out hope: CW president Dawn Ostroff isn’t ready to let Lorelai and Rory go—and is prepared to do “whatever it takes” to turn the show around creatively and keep it around another year. So, maybe it’ll work out.

And, well, let’s be honest. Money talks! And if it talks in a very rapid, witty and dramatic fashion, our Gilmore goddesses just might stick around.

Keri Russell’s Pregnancy

Back then when Keri Rusell was Felicity a simple haircut made a huge difference in the show’s raitings. It’s probably a good thing that show’s not around anymore, because something like this could really do it in.

Keri is pregnant with her first child with her fiancé, contractor Shane Deary, her rep, Jill Fritzo, has confirmed the media. The baby is expected this summer.

Russell and Deary, both 30, have been dating for several years and got engaged last year. They have yet to set a wedding date, Fritzo said.

After Felicity ended its four-season run in 2002, Russell took a break from the spotlight for several years before resurfacing in 2005’s The Upside of Anger.

She went on to appear in the Steven Spielberg miniseries Into the West before signing on to star opposite Tom Cruise in 2006’s Mission: Impossible III.

Fittingly enough, Russell plays a pregnant woman in her latest film, the indie romantic comedy Waitress, which debuts at the Sundance Film Festival next week.

In a sad twist, the film was written and directed by the late Adrienne Shelly, who was murdered in her New York apartment in November, making the upcoming premiere a bittersweet experience for those involved with the project.

“It is bizarre coming there under these circumstances,” Russell told the New York Times in a recent interview. “Sundance is a raging, nonstop party, a huge celebration, and you feel so lucky to be there. This will be very different for all of us, but I have huge affection for her family, and I think all of us believe that this movie deserves every bit of attention it can get.”

Russell is scheduled to attend the premiere.

Up ahead, Russell stars in the films August Rush, with Robin Williams, and The Girl in the Park with Kate Bosworth and Sigourney Weaver. Both films are slated for release later this year.

NFL rejects offer by Britney Spears

Isn’t that funny that on her very first days of career we looked at her as a sweet little girl who just came up from the Mickey’s Mouse club….the perfect teenager, with a brilliant future , a handsome boyfriend and the energy to go over any kind of situation. Nowadays, we look at her as a misfit maybe?…yes Britney went from the bottom to the top and now is going backwards….the reason….there are not one but a lot of reasons wh this pop singer has been rejected from her old followers. Even Paris Hilton called her once “an animal” making reference to they way Britney used to live life…that is pretty bad isn’t?…because her behavior and her 360 grade change…the NFL has rejected her as the artist in charge of the performance of the closure acts of this season. Well… i guess this little lady wanted to give a try and catch some attention as Janet Jackson did once …LOL or maybe she just want to again that pretty lady of her golden years.

Big Party at the Golden Globes

Usually called Hollywood’s biggest party, the Golden Globes reunite stars to celebrate their achievements but mostly P-A-R-T-Y!!!

Stars themselves like Kyra Sedgwick have told the media they enjoy this parties because they get to drink.

Jeremy Irons, winner of best supporting actor for the TV miniseries “Elizabeth I,” said the Golden Globes are more relaxed than other awards shows.

“It’s a really good party. It’s a bit looser than the Oscars and there’s slightly less hype.”

To British Court “The DaVinci Code”

According to Access Hollywood two authors who failed to persuade Britain’s High Court that Dan Brown stole their ideas for his blockbuster novel “The Da Vinci Code” were taking their case to the Court of Appeal on Tuesday.Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh claim that Brown borrowed the central theme of their book “The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail” for his multimillion-selling thriller. Both books deal with a theory — dismissed by theologians — that Jesus and Mary Magdalene married and had a child, and that the bloodline continues to this day.

In April, Justice Peter Smith ruled that Random House, publisher of “The Da Vinci Code,” had not breached the copyright. Smith said Baigent and Leigh’s claim had been based on a “selective number of facts and ideas artificially taken out of (the book) for the purpose of the litigation.”

Baigent and Leigh were ordered to pay 85 percent of Random House’s legal bill, estimated at $2.6 million.

Lawyers for the two authors are asking three appeal court judges to overturn Smith’s verdict.

“The Da Vinci Code” has sold more than 40 million copies since its release in March 2003. A film version starring Tom Hanks was released last year.

“The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail” — also published by Random House — was a best-seller on its release more than 20 years ago, and climbed sales charts again thanks to publicity urrounding the case.
