MNF Packers at Eagles!!!!

Philadelphia has had a very strong offensive line in this beginning of the season, a key weapon for that offensive line has been running back Brian Westbrook despite having a jammed knee in the past few weeks. He has totaled 420 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns for every game he’s been in. Westbrook is one of the league leaders with 256 rushing yards and 5.8 per carry despite being limited to 44 attempts, he has become a key target for Donovan Mcnabb. The Packers will definitely have to keep on eye on this guy, Westbrook had a tremendous impact in last weeks win over San Francisco when he carried the ball eight times for 117 yards and two touchdowns, including a 71-yard run the longest in his career, and caught four passes for 47 yards and a TD. Some key numbers here the Eagles have won four in a row over the Packers and have won eight straight home games against them since 1962.

The Green Bay Packers has found there biggest issue on there defense, there inability to stop the Offensive teams has caused them huge problems this season. They have allowed a season-high 424 yards last week and only accomplished a win to Detroit. Packers QB Brett Favre came through with his best game of the season, completing 25 of 36 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns, and ended a run of 12 straight games of throwing an interception. Receiver Donald Driver has been there go-to guy in offense he leads the Packers with 18 receptions for 269 yards. Some key numbers to watch for Green Bay there offensive line allowed five sacks over the first two games, but didn’t give one last week for the first time in 13 games.

MLB Playoffs are Ready!!!!

It all came down to the final games of the season where we finally know the teams that will be in the World Series race. In the National League the teams were tight, The St. Louis Cardinals won their third straight NL Central title on Sunday despite a 5-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, backing into the playoffs thanks to Houston’s loss in Atlanta. While The Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers each finished with 88-74 records, and both teams had already clinched playoff spots. As for the New York Mets they finished there season with a win over the Washington 6-2, they had already achieved there playoff spot with there NL East title and with one of the best season records in the Major League. Here is the schedule for the first game of the National League Division Series.

NLDS Playoffs Games: San Diego vs. St. Louis Game1 Tuesday, Oct. 3
St. Louis (Carpenter 15-8) at San Diego (Peavy 11-14)

New York vs. Los Angeles Game1 Wednesday, Oct. 4
Los Angeles (Lowe 16-8) at New York (O.Hernandez 11-11)

In the American League the story wasn’t too different like in the NL, The Minnesota Twins took home another AL Central championship on Sunday in there 5-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Despite having to depend on what Kansas City would do in there game with Detroit. The Twins began the day tied with Detroit for first place, but they needed a victory and a loss from the Detroit Tigers to win the division title and clinch the playoffs. That was exactly what happened, the Royals completed a big comeback and beat the Detroit Tigers 10-8 in 12 innings. Now Detroit will have to face the mighty New York Yankees after they wasted there chance of winning the AL Central and clinching the wild card. Here is the schedule for the first game of the American League Division Series.

ALDS Playoffs Games: New York vs. Detroit Game 1 Tuesday, Oct. 3
Detroit (Robertson 13-13) at New York (Wang 19-6)
