Vince Young starts at QB vrs Dallas tomorrow!!!

It seems Tennesse has finally decided to take a risk in the football season, and now that the team is 0-3, they put there winning hopes on Rookie QB Vince Young. He will make his first NFL start this Sunday when Tennesse faces the Dallas Cowboys. Veteran Kerry Collins has not been able to get the offense rolling, so the oportunity is now in Vince’s hands to spark that offense and give the Titans there first win of the season. Young left Texas after his junior season and a brilliant performance in the Rose Bowl against Southern California.Young is 10-of-23 for 133 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He played one series in the Titans’ opener, and he played one series in the first half and the entire fourth quarter in a 40-7 loss at San Diego. It will now be time for Young to show everyone what he is capable of doing, he is a tremendous athlete, he has confidence in himself and has also worked hard to get this chance to pump the offense for Tennesse.

NFL San Diego at Baltimore!!!

The matchup between two undefeated teams will be the most exciting game to watch tomorrow. The Chargers QB Philip Rivers will get his first start against an elite defensive team, he will have a real test tomorrow afternoon. Rivers became San Diego’s starting QB after they let Drew Brees go via free agency, he hasn’t had any trouble in his first two games though the Chargers have beaten teams with a winless record at this point. QB Rivers has yet to be sacked, has found protection in his defensive end and a very good conection with running back Ladainian Tomlinson. Rivers has completed 71.7 percent of his throws and not committing a turnover.

In the other side of the field we will find the Baltimore Ravens who have limited opponents to 197.3 yards per game, second in the NFL behind San Diego, and are tied for the league lead with 16 sacks and 11 takeaways. The Ravens will find themselves with a slight problem before the game they could be without former Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed and linebacker Terrell Suggs both reported as questionable. The Ravens this year have done a good job defensively and offensively, something that in the past was a struggle for the team when it came to scoring. The addition of veteran quarterback Steve McNair has finally given that offense direction and accountability. Mcnair displayed his credentials last week he went 6-of-9 for 52 yards on the ensuing drive to set up Matt Stover’s go-ahead 52-yard field goal with 20 seconds to play and that gave Baltimore the win against Cleveland, keeping there unbeaten record.

This will be the first game between the two teams since the Ravens won 24-10 at San Diego on Sept. 21, 2003. Skytowercasino and Sportsbook has all the NFL action, check the Live Odds for this game and the rest of games scheduled for tomorrow. Ohio State at Iowa tonight CFB!!!

The Buckeyes (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) have established themselves as the team to beat in both the Big Ten and the nation, outscoring their first four opponents 124-32. QB Troy Smith looks to continue strengthening his case for the Heisman Trophy, he has completed 66 percent of his passes for 884 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions. His 159.9 passer rating leads the Big Ten.Smith had his worst statistical game of the season on Saturday against then-No. 24 Penn State, going 12-for-22 for 115 yards, one TD and his first two interceptions of the season. However, it was enough for Ohio State to overcome a 3-0 halftime deficit and pull away for a 28-6 victory. The win was the second over a ranked opponent for Ohio State, which defeated defending national champion and then-No. 2 Texas 24-7 on Sept. 9. The Buckeyes won last season’s meeting with Iowa, 31-6 they gained 314 yards on the ground, while holding the Hawkeyes to minus-9.

Iowa may prove tougher to defeat back on its home field. The Hawkeyes have won 32 of their last 35 games at Kinnick Stadium. However none of Iowa’s victories have come against a top-ranked team. The Hawkeyes are 0-7-1 in their history against No. 1 schools. They also have yet to face a ranked opponent this season. Their victories have come over Division I-AA Montana, and three Division I-A teams – Syracuse, Iowa State, and Illinois. Senior QB Drew Tate completed 17 of 27 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown, but also threw an interception in Saturdays 24-7 victory at Illinois.

Ohio State has won nine of the last 10 meetings with Iowa. Here are the Odds for this game and the rest of CFB games scheduled at this time.SkytowerCasinoandSportsbook is offering a 50% Cash Bonus for there New Members, make sure to take advantage of those Football Promotions. Tiger Woods eying sixth straight PGA Win!!

Tiger Woods made another eagle on the 18th hole today at the American Express Championship. He started his round on the back nine, went on to birdie four of his next six holes on his way to a 7-under 64 that gave him his best 36-hole start in six years and a five-shot lead going into the weekend of this World Golf Championship. He was at 15-under 127 and will be paired in the third round with Ryder Cup partner Jim Furyk, who played his last five holes in 1 over and still managed a 65. Stewart Cink (67) and David Howell (66) also were at 10-under 132. Padraig Harrington shot 69 and was another shot back. Vijay Singh was 21 shots behind Woods after two rounds. The Fijian, who has struggled most of the year, has opened with rounds of 73-75.

His 36-hole record on the PGA Tour (25-6) is not nearly as daunting as having the lead going into the final round, although the way he is playing on a course that suits him doesn’t leave the 60-man field optimistic. Woods already has won seven times this year on the PGA Tour, including two majors (Masters and British Open) and one World Golf Championship at Firestone last month. He will be looking to add more credits to his records.

Anna Nicole Smith exchanges Vows AGAIN!!!

The reality T.V star exchanged vows with boyfriend Howard K Stern on a boat near Nassau but there was no formal marriage and the ceremony is not legally binding. The exchange of vows happened aboard a catamaran Thursday 18 days after Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel, died as he was visiting her in a Nassau hospital, where she had given birth to a baby girl. This guy Stern claims to be the father of the baby, the former Playboy Playmate hired a forensic pathologist who says that the cause of her son’s death was from a combination of two antidepressants and methadone. Authorities in the Bahamas were awaiting their own toxicology results and a police report on Daniel Smith’s death to determine whether a jury inquest is necessary.

Anna Nicole Smith has been married twice, she married Bill Smith in 1985, giving birth to Daniel Smith before divorcing two years later. Then wed Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II in 1994, when she was 26 and he was 89. He died the following year. She has since been involved in legal disputes over the estate. What a ride has this 38 year old former bunny has had in her life, makes me wonder if all this is for REAL.

#23 Rutgers at South Florida Tonight!!

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will play tonight there first game as a ranked team in more than a couple of decades. They should not be too confident on a triumph tonight over South Florida, we have to remember that the Bulls won in Rutger’s turf last season, game where they gave up 45 points. Rutgers has a unbeaten record of 4-0, the last time something like this happened was 20 years ago. With the toughest part of the schedule ahead, one of the keys to how the Scarlet Knights fare in the Big East will be whether they can prepare for games against opponents like South Florida the same way they do for late-season matchups against league favorites Louisville and West Virginia.

USF (3-1) is coming off a 13-7 road loss at Kansas and is still trying to find itself offensively after surprising many by contending for the Big East title in 2005, the school’s first season in the conference. Without Andre Hall, the Bulls’ career rushing leader, the running game has struggled and USF needed second-half rallies to beat McNeese State, Florida International and Central Florida in its first three games. Redshirt freshman quarterback Matt Grothe leads the Bulls in rushing in the absence of the top two candidates to replace Hall and the passing game has been sporadic too, in part because of inexperienced receivers.

The Scarlet Knights should take it all the way, check out the Odds for tonights game, Not a member? Sign Up to SkytowerCasino and Sportsbook and take advantage of the 50% Sign Up Cash Bonus for the new members. Don’t miss all the college and pro football action available.

Nascar Nextel Cup The Banquet 400 this Sunday!!!

Matt Kenseth looks as the favorite guy to win this Sunday’s Banquet 400 at Kansas City Speedway in Kansas City. Kenseth is currently in 3rd place in the overall Nextel Cup standings and seems to have the odds in his favour. It was just last month when Kenseth won back to back races looking for that pole position in the standings. He is still 18 points behind current leader Jeff Burton.

Kenseth had a good performance last week at Nascar’s Racepoints 400, had he not run out of gas on his last lap, in the end he managed a 10th place finish to stay within close range of leader Burton. The second racer in favour of the odds is Jeff Gordon, he also has had great numbers in Kansas since 2001 two victories and a 6th place is his record.

Gordon is a four-time Cup winner and is just six points behind the leader Burton. Also in the race for the checkered flag this Sunday will be Jeff Burton who won last week at Dover, Kevin Harvick will be looking to give the fight for the checkered flag, he won the two previous events and has managed a top 10 result in Kansas back in 2003 when he finished sixth.

Check the action for this race, here are the live odds that SkytowerCasino and Sportsbook has for this Sunday. If you are not a member, join now there are special promotions and don’t miss the action.

Terrell Owens in everyones mouth AGAIN!!!

Once again Terrell Owens is the main talk in sports news, it seems the man can’t get enough about people having something to say or even making something up about the Dallas Cowboys receiver. There was suppose confusion made today when several media outlets received a police report, that had yet to be released by the authorities, saying Owens had attempted suicide by overdosing on painkillers, even putting two more pills into his mouth after an unidentified friend, identified as Etheredge T.O’s publicist, intervened. Owens 32, blamed a combination of hydrocodone, with all-natural supplements for making him ill. Etheredge also appeared at Owens’ news conference, saying she “did not take anything out of his mouth and that it was unfair for anyone to think Owens would kill himself “.

Owens broke the bone leading to his right ring finger during a game a week ago Sunday. The next day, doctors screwed in a plate so the bone could heal without fear of further damage – leaving a 2-inch scar on top of his hand.

Owens is one of the league’s top receivers in his 11-year NFL career, he is best known for wild stunts on the field and other publicity-seeking antics off it. In 2004 before a Monday Night game against Dallas Owens took part in a risque promotional stunt with one of ABC’s Desperate Housewives that later prompted an apology from the tv network. He also got attention from everyone after celebrating a touchdown by pulling a Sharpie from his sock and autographing the ball in a 49ers game at Seattle back in 2000. He’s also borrowed a cheerleader’s pompoms, done sit-ups on his driveway before TV cameras and mocked Ravens tough guy Ray Lewis celebration in a game against Baltimore. Terrell Owens is truely one of kind, a unique personality, what would the world of sports do without Terrell Owens.
