The NFL Wild card race came to an end yesterday and we have the teams ready to play this upcoming weekend, let’s check who qualified and why:
From the NFC East we have PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
with a record of 9 wins, 6 losses and 1 tie (9-6-1), their divisional record 2-4 and the conference record 7-5, which proves that the deserve the spot on the Wild Card but they wil fight to make it to the playoffs for sure. They creamed Dallas Cowboys on the last game of the regular season, showing a lot of offensive power and great defense, holding Dallas with 6 points scored on the whole game.
From the NFC North MINNESOTA VIKINGS
with a record of 10 wins and 6 losses (10-6), their divisional record 4-2 and the conference record 8-4. They played hell of a game yesterday and we could expect the same from them this weekend.
From the NFC South ATLANTA FALCONS
with a record of 11 wins and 5 losses (11-5), their divisional record 3-3 and conference record of 8-4. This team looks a lot weaker than the rest, I have my doubts about them making it to the next level, their future will be bright but not this year.
From NFC West ARIZONA CARDINALS
with a record of 9 wins and 7 losses (9-7), their divisional record 6-0 and the conference record 7-5. Not much to say about the Cards, they played really good this year but they will not go that far in this postseason, in my opinion they are not good enough to make it to the big dance.
From AFC East MIAMI DOLPHINS
with a record of 11 wins and 5 losses (11-5), their divisional record 4-2 and conference record of 8-4. Now this is a team worth watching this year, it seems to me that Parcell did hell of a job putting these guys to play some serious football, although might not be enough their effort has been remarkable (last year record was 1-15), good for the Dolphins but sadly not ready yet for the next step.
From AFC North BALTIMORE RAVENS
with a record of 11 wins and 5 losses (11-5), their divisional record 4-2 and conference record 8-4. Great defensive team, great chances to move on to the next phase, great attitude, great coaching, solid favorite on the playoffs.
From AFC South INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
with a record of 12 wins and 4 losses (12-4), their divisional record 4-2 and conference record 10-2. The Colts will crush whoever stands on their way, they are heavy favorites to take the thophy home, let’s see if they have what it takes to be champs again.
From AFC West SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
with a record of 8 wins and 8 losses, (8-8), their divisional record 5-1 and conference record 7-5. Talking about a team that doesn’t deserve to be in the post season, one of the most overrated teams in the NFL qualified yesterday by crushing the Broncos but these guys are not going anywhere, this is as far as they are going, they don’t have it and they know it, they are just lucky to be in the postseason.
