Northern Illinois (6-6) came back to win the important games just to make it to this bowl, louisiana tech (7-5) came back to the big dance since 2001. This is another one of those depressing bowls, no excitment whatsoever here, both teams play similar, the coaches have pretty much the same tendencies, so there is not much I can say about them. The fact is both teams made it and noone wants to lose on national television and the game will be on Louisiana so LA TECH might get the hook there but for what I have seen and read about both teams my pick will go to Northern Illinois -1½.
