The Seattle Mariners and the free agent Russell Branyan signed a deal for one year and a $1.4 million.
The left hitter end the last season with a record of .250 with 12 Home Runs and 20 RBI with the Milwaukee Brewers.
He can hit the ball out of the park, however Branyan is unstable, is prone to bad patches and strike outs and that is the main reason of his instability in the majors.
He has 133 home runs in 11 MLB seasons. He can play first and second base and also play as designated hitter.
