The unbeaten New Orleans Saints host the Carolina Panthers, as the Saints look to exact revenge on the Panthers. Carolina has won six of the past seven meetings, and won their last meeting in the Big Easy.

One of the best match ups in week 9 is this Panthers versus Saints game.  The Saints have stacked themselves with talent the last three years but, still have not found away to advance to the Superbowl.  Many have picked the saints to be a top contender in the NFC, look for this year to be the year the Saints put together a strong regular season.  Starting with a home win against last years NFC South division winners the Carolina Panthers.

Last week the Carolina Panthers beat the Cardinals 34-21, improving to a 3-4 season record. The Panthers 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Jake Delhomme completing 113 passes on 191 attempts for 1262 yards with five touchdowns, DeAngelo Williams leads in rushing with 128 carries for 619 yards with five touchdowns and Steve Smith leads in receiving with 30 receptions for 414 yards with one touchdown.

During NFL week eight, the New Orleans Saints beat the Falcons 35-27, improving to a perfect 7-0 record. The Saints 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Drew Brees completing 157 passes on 230 attempts for 2006 yards with 16 touchdowns, Pierre Thomas leads in rushing with 70 carries for 405 yards with four touchdowns and Marques Colston leads in receiving with 36 receptions for 551 yards with six touchdowns.
