This Thanksgiving day match up is a battle of NFC North teams with the Lions hosting the Packers. The Detroit crowd will give the Lions great support and will be a big boost for the home team. The Packers will turn the ball over costing them in this one. The crowd goes home happy after Detroit picks up a rare victory.
Last week the Green Bay Packers beat the 49ers 30-24, improving to a 5-5 season record. The Packers 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Aaron Rodgers completing 221 passes on 341 attempts for 2788 yards with 19 touchdowns, Ryan Grant leads in rushing with 189 carries for 829 yards with five touchdowns and Donald Driver leads in receiving with 46 receptions for 703 yards with four touchdowns.
Last week the Detroit Lions beat the Browns 38-37, improving to a 2-8 record. The Lions 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Matthew Stafford completing 170 passes on 308 attempts for 1911 yards with 11 touchdowns, Kevin Smith leads in rushing with 162 carries for 560 yards with three touchdown and Calvin Johnson leads in receiving with 39 receptions for 597 yards with two touchdowns.
