The third-ranked Longhorns look to take another step toward the BCS title game when they visit Big 12 South rival Texas A&M on Thursday night.
Last week the Texas Longhorns beat Kansas 51-20, improving to a perfect 11-0 season record. The 2009 Longhorns team leaders include; quarterback Colt McCoy completing 286 passes on 392 attempts for 3024 yards with 23 touchdowns, Tre’ Newton leads in rushing with 67 carries for 370 yards with two touchdowns and Jordan Shipley leads in receiving with 91 receptions for 1204 yards with nine touchdowns.
Last week the Texas A&M Aggies beat Baylor 38-3, improving to a 6-5 season record. The 2009 Aggies team leaders include; quarterback Jerrod Johnson completing 241 passes on 406 attempts for 2875 yards with 24 touchdowns, Cyrus Gray leads in rushing with 151 carries for 741 yards with five touchdowns and Uzoma Nwachukwu leads in receiving with 33 receptions for 628 yards with six touchdowns.
