The New Orleans Saints high powered offense heads to Miami to take on the Dolphins, as the Saints look for six straight wins.
This game will prove to be more important to the Dolphins than it is for the Saints, as Miami enters week 7 with a record of 2-3 coming out of their bye. The Dolphins are coming off two straight wins over divisional opponents with victories over the Buffalo Bills 38-10 and the New York Jets last Monday Night 31-27.
The Saints (5-0) beat NY Giants 48-27 at home in Week 6 and now sit atop the NFC South. The Giants had given up only 23 points combined in their previous three games. New Orleans had 34 by halftime.
The Saints 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Drew Brees completing 110 passes on 159 attempts for 1400 yards with 13 touchdowns, Pierre Thomas leads in rushing with 48 carries for 284 yards with three touchdowns and Marques Colston leads in receiving with 25 receptions for 394 yards with four touchdowns.
Last week the Miami Dolphins had a bye. They have a 2-3 record. The Dolphins 2009 team leaders include; quarterback Chad Henne completing 44 passes on 67 attempts for 448 yards with three touchdowns, Ronnie Brown leads in rushing with 93 carries for 443 yards with six touchdowns and Ted Ginn Jr. leads in receiving with 16 receptions for 195 yards with one touchdown.
