Georgia Tech opens its ACC schedule against Clemson at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. September 10, 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN, ESPN360.com

Clemson and Georgia Tech are natural rivals that play every year in the new ACC alignment despite being in different divisions. The Tigers won the last two games at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta while the Yellow Jackets won the heartbreaker at Clemson last season. 12 of the last 15 games between the two schools have ended with a margin of 5 points or less between the winner and the loser.

Tech was a 21-17 winner last year at Death Valley. Dabo Swinney made his debut as the Tigers’ interim coach that afternoon. Now that he’s been installed as the head coach will he have an answer for the Yellow Jackets? Tech didn’t run wild on the Tigers last fall, but won the game thanks to a great defensive.
