SUSPENSIONS

This final match won’t have the appearance of Darren Fletcher (MAN UTD) and Eric Abidal (BAR) since they both got awarded a direct red card in their last match. ANother player that will miss the final will be Dani Alves (BAR) with a problem with yellow cards, WAY TOO MANY!!!. Manchester United appealed was overturned and the suspension stands, the foul was clear and the red card was awarded accordingly with the rulebook, so the suspension stays. Same answer was given to Barça in their inquiry about their two players, and the same answer was given to them as well. Barça will be the team suffering the most with these suspensions, both defense players are vital fro Barcelona and they will be a missing piece in Guardiola’s puzzle. Fletcher is only one midfielder and he can be easily replaced in my personal opinion.

Injuries will be another factor attempting to ruin the party for both squads but the team affected the most again is Barcelona since Thierry Henry and Iniesta are both injured, they are both sure they will be at Rome but at this time there are no papers from the doctors clearing any of them to play, they still have a couple of weeks before the game so we will be following their development.

My prediction will be the easiest one so far, Manchester United will take the third UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CUP home for the third time and their second in a row. THE PICK WILL BE MANCHESTER UNITED.
