One of the most historical teams in the MLB comes back this year as a serious contender for the 2009 World championship. The Windy City Wrigley Field receive the famous Chicago Cubs for one more year to see if this ona finishes the course of no championships in 101 years, talking about a dry spell!!!

This year’s Chicago Cubs roster has plenty of talented ball players, pitchers like Dempster,Lilly and Zambrano come back with lots of energy and ready to win. The team looks healthy and ready,eager to show some respect and once and for all finish the spell.

The Cubs have their first test this upcoming monday when they will be facing Houston Astros @ Minute Maid Park so it will be very important for them to start winning this early in the season, they need the BIG W’s so they can become the team we all love to watch. The starting pitchers for this game will be Zambrano for the Cubs and Oswalt for the Astros, the best of luck for both pitchers.

After this long waiting period we can expect pretty much anmything from the CUBS, they have dissapointed us so many times it is unbelievable but it seems like the last few years the club shaped up their act and they are ready to claim what’s theirs, let’s wait and see if the ball players have enough guts to accomplish what so many rosters in the past couldn’t.
