In my opinion the best soccer team of the whole world for 2008 was Manchester United without a doubt. What a year for Sir Alex Ferguson and his boys, their 17th domestic title, their 3rd UEFA Champions League title and a World Club Championship. The Red Devils achieved in 2008 what most teams only dreamed of, 3 awesome titles in very competitive environment, and all of them without any controversy. Sir Alex Ferguson must have been proud of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez, Darren Fletcher, Van Der Saar, and all the stars of this amazing soccer club, their talented staff knew how to deal with the stress and the strain of a heavy load, training like the best and winning like only few teams have ever done before. Congrats to Sir Alex and his squad for a great year and a lesson on how to run a successful team and taking it to the next level.
